Welcome New Subjects
So…last Sunday was a rough one.
One of the Emperor’s go-to bodyguards, Buzz Light Year, was injured while flying over the baby gate.
Actually, “injured” is a bit of an understatement.
(One leg snapped off completely.)
The emperor has spent the better part of the last five days and nights trying to re-attach said leg–solemnly referred to as “Buzz shoe”.
Fortunately, today, the kingdom was righted again with the arrival of five brand spanking new subjects–including a suspiciously fully restored Buzz Light Year.
(It’s the “same one”. “Really”.)
(The others include Woody, Jesse, Bullseye and Rex.)
Some of you may wonder whether Buzz Light Year and crew really deserve to be the subject of a blog post. But that may only be because you are not aware that Buzz Light Year was named one of the top 100 toys of all time by TIME Magazine AND, even more impressively, that the little space guy was invited by NASA to spend 15 months in the International Space Station. (Really.)
The Emperor, in his mercy, forgives your ignorance.
See videos of Buzz floating in outerspace and being welcomed back to earth here.

If it has to do with TOY STORY, then it’s definitely blog worthy.

I love your whole emperor angle you take for him. “Buzz shoe” so cute. Makes me excited for all the milestones I have to look forward to with our youngest.
