I Won’t Let It Go Until…

balloons

I won’t let it go until…

I get an apology.

That person comes clean about the lies they’ve told.

I feel appreciated again.

I won’t let it go until ________________________ (you fill in the blank).

We all make up criteria–things we think we need–in order to feel good or happy about a bad situation.

We’ve envisioned the moment that must arrive in order to let all the bad stuff go.

But I think sometimes what we’re really saying is…

I won’t let it go until…I choose to.

I’ve chosen to let go. Wanna join me? :)

Wow! How’d you get in my mind?? :) I’ve been dealing with a lot of those situations lately. As a perfectionist, I want it to be all fixed before I let it go. But some things don’t get fixed, or they take a long time to get there. Thanks for the reminder that I can (and should) let it go now. :)
