The Throne Room of God
As usual, leave it up to me to scout out the “important” news stories of the week …stories like this one: the first Willy Wonka store launched in New York City this week.
(Who knows how many of you dear readers would get trapped in boring front page drivel without me=).
I haven’t been to Willy Wonka-ville yet, but it’s apparently the world’s dreams spelled out in chocolate. Not to mention, it’s possible to buy actual schnozzberries now, people.
Don’t tell me dreams don’t come true.
Oh, and on another happy note, I also caught this commercial:
Chocolate fountains in plain sight. Bumper car joy rides down the street. Sipping coffee in spinning saucers.
The suggestion of dreams blurring into reality? I can’t turn away. I have to look. It’s the stuff of my soul.
And if you permit me to flex my evangelical voice for a minute, I’ll take that one step further.
Those moments where life and the imagination inside you intersect? That’s not a whimsical niche that belongs to the Wonderful World of Disney, my friends.
That’s the red hot mark of the Spirit branding your heart.
That’s the spot where if you take a careful look around, you might see that you find yourself in the throne room of God.

Fun post!
I love that commercial – had not seen it before. Thanks for sharing it.

It’s true–can we hear the voice of the Spirit speaking all around us? Even in sweets and commercials, the Spirit of God is calling to us to find the intersection you spoke of, Sarah. Thanks.
