I Fold at Five Dollars

Occasionally, our dear Twitter platform causes me to do a digital doubletake.
Like today, when the following message appeared in my feed.
“For $5, I will tweet your msg to my 80,000 followers.”
The time it took me between the moment I read the tweet to the time I hit unfollow? 3 seconds.
Hopefully, for truth in advertising’s sake, the guy adapted his message:
“For $5, I will tweet your msg to my 79,999 followers.”
Now, if–my unfollowed friend–you ever get to the point where you want to tweet, “I’ll pay you $5 for every one of my tweet-mercials you read” well then we’d have something to talk about.
