Emperor Decrees April 22 National Holiday
The last couple of years, April 22nd has been a triple threat in our household.
1. It is the day we commemorate an ironically bad Friday that gave way to a history-altering good Sunday.
2. It's the day we bask in this planet God gave us.
3. And finally, in our little piece of the world, it's the day the Emperor--also known as chief flower picker--graced us with his presence. Two years ago. Exactly.
(We'll forget the pain involved just this once.)

The Increasingly Brilliant Emperor
A couple updates from the emperor:
By wielding his charm at Chuck E. Cheese and his grandparents' house, the emperor acquired the new subjects below.
(FYI, if you're secretly thinking that it is ridiculous for a child to own a toy in three sizes, it's okay. We--the chief servants--think so too.)
The emperor's new favorite past time is trying the largest Woody character's hat on the smaller Woody characters.

Welcome New Subjects
So...last Sunday was a rough one.
One of the Emperor's go-to bodyguards, Buzz Light Year, was injured while flying over the baby gate.
Actually, "injured" is a bit of an understatement.
(One leg snapped off completely.)
The emperor has spent the better part of the last five days and nights trying to re-attach said leg--solemnly referred to as "Buzz shoe".
