Dr. Loftus is a cognitive psychologist who has conducted extensive research on human memory. She is well known for her groundbreaking work on the “misinformation effect” and has been asked to share her expertise in legal cases including those of O.J. Simpson, Oliver North, Ted Bundy, the Menendez Brothers, Michael Jackson, Marth Stewart, and Lewis “Scooter” Libby.

The Review of General Psychology’s named her as the highest ranking woman on their list of the 100 most influential psychological researchers of the 20th century.
