5 Ways to Get Involved With the STORY Conference

1. Drop us a line and say hi.

Really. The attenders are the highlight of our year.

We don’t just want you to come and casually fill a seat. We’d love to hear what is stirring inside of you. What are your latest projects? What new website are you launching? Drop me a line at sarah (at) storychicago (dot) com anytime.

2. Sign Onto the Street Team.

The Street Team is a group of people who serve as the front line of information for STORY. We give them the latest info on the event in the making (generally 4 to 6 contacts a year) and they in turn help us spread the word via their social networks.  There are occasional invites to Skype meetings or opportunities to provide feedback too. Not to mention an end of the year gathering at STORY.

Drop me an email at sarah (at) storychicago (dot) com with “Street Team” in the subject line if you’re interested.

3. Sponsor Story12

Every year, corporate sponsors partner with STORY to support our premiere event for the creative class. Both small and large companies set up shop in our lobby and many also host interactive experiences to engage our audience of tastemakers. The last two years, we’ve sold out of sponsor space so I am making a point to extend an invite early on. Send me an email with “SPONSOR” in the subject line if you and your people want to get involved – sarah (at) storychicago (dot) com.

4. Become an Advocate for One Thousand Premieres

When you heard about One Thousand Premieres at the event, did your heart start to beat a little faster? Did your adrenaline start to pump when you thought about bringing epic faith stories to the silver screen? We’d love to have you join our team of advocates who are helping support and spread the word about this project. You can find out more info here.

5. Connect At a Dream Year Weekend.

Remember the This Is My Year trailer directed by Nathan Corrona? We’re planning several Dream Year weekends for 2012. If you have an interest in hosting the fast-track version of Dream Year at your church or site, drop me a line at sarah (at) storychicago (dot) com. We’d love to see you again in the coming months, so feel free  to register for the upcoming weekend in Charlotte!
