Write For Money No. 4

write for money, writing for cash, writing tips, writing how to, i like to write, i love to write, daily writing tips, i write what i like, how to write well,Several weeks ago, I added a new blog series to support new and aspiring authors seeking to make money via their writing. This week, we’ll look at how creating web content can put a little money in a writer’s empty pockets.

Writing Website or Blog Content

Almost all companies and non-profit organizations maintain websites, but often times they go under-developed because the existing staff are already maxed out.

Any writer who is willing to churn out posts about breaking news within a company or charity’s field can add a lot of value to a company’s website.

You might find companies who are seeking writers to contract at job boards like ProBlogger, Women on Writing, Online Writing Jobs and Freelance Writing Jobs. Or, you might send out a few emails to companies in your region or organizations you are otherwise connected to, to let them know you’re interested in doing some writing if they would ever like to expand their website content.

* Thank you to those who have already asked. In this stage of my career, I mostly work on my own books or on ghost-writing or editing for meaningful book projects. However, I am willing to consider contracting with organizations who need a writer to meet their ongoing content needs. If I can’t do it for you, I’d also be happy to refer you to someone who can. Feel free to email me at sarahraymondcunningham (at) gmail (dot) com .*
